Welcome to Fashion Fairy Dust and thank you so much for stopping by! I’m Debbie Stinedurf, blogger and owner of FFD. Through FFD, I share my love of fashion and styling tips for real life as well as my often humorous view on life as we know it. For me, fashion is a means of expressing who I am on any given day, and I see each day as yet another opportunity to share that with the world even if it’s a casual run to the grocery store. It is my goal to inspire women of all ages to dress to make themselves happy and to feel beautiful as opposed to following antiquated societal expectations in regard to how we are “supposed to dress”. Fashion and personal style do not have an expiration date, and if I am able to inspire even one woman through my fashion choices or my words than I have been successful.

A few tidbits about me:
- My typical style definitely has a boho vibe.
- I’ve never met two (or more) prints that I didn’t think I could mix.
- I have more kimonos than any one person should own…the same goes for boyfriend jeans and shoes.
- I believe the addition of a “third piece” is what makes an outfit special.
- I can’t live without coffee.
- Nor can I live without dogs. I have 4 and would have 100 if my husband would agree to it.
- I love 80’s music and will sing Def Leppard, The Bangles and Cheap Trick songs at the top of my lungs in the car.
- I’m obsessed with anything Apocalypse related~movies, books, t.v. shows. Yes, I have a strange and twisted mind.
- I do all of my own photography for the blog.
- I’m also obsessed with the weather and track storms like a maniac.
Hi Debbie, finally subscribed! I also think the third piece is the defining piece to an outfit! I do my own photography too. So glad we have connected. I consider you the friend I’ve never met. Maybe one day….
How lovely it is to get to know you a bit more. I enjoy watching anything Apocalypse related too. We have a few other similarities too ( you can find them on my about page) Hugs!
You are very fashionable and inspiring
Debbie, I am very particular about the blogs I like, but when I recently came across yours I was hooked. I feel addicted now. I especially love the tulle skirts. I have always wanted one. but being 63 I thought I couldn’t wear something like that. You have inspired me by the lovely pictures and the way you pair things with them, So I clicked on the Shoptiques site where you said you got yours and they were on sale for $18. OMG it was meant to be. I got a white one. Anxiously reading your older posts and looking forward to new ones.
Thank you so much Marilyn…I’m so happy that you love the blog! It means so much to me to hear that I inspired you; knowing that what I write and the photographs that I take provide even a little bit of inspiration or entertainment for others is the reason that I do it. Email me a photo of you in your new tulle skirt when you get it…I’d love to see it! xo
