I realize I’m dating myself here, but I really do love Def Leppard.  Please don’t judge! And this, by far, is my favorite Def Leppard t-shirt.  The funny thing is it isn’t one of my concert tees, I found it on the clearance rack at Target about three months ago! I just found the striped blazer recently. I’d wanted one, but I was waiting for the perfect blazer to come along and this was it. It’s ponte knit which makes it comfy like a cardigan, but it still has structure and style because it’s a blazer.  I hate feeling confined, and blazers made of other materials make me feel uncomfortable and restricted so ponte knit is ideal.
It’s Tuesday, so I’m linking up with Tori over at My Thrifty Chic  for her Anything & Everything blog hop. T-Shirt and Sandals: Target (unavailable);  Blazer: Sears;  Shorts: GAP

My skirt is coral, but this outfit just looked “citrusy” to me! I’ve been loving high-low skirts since they first appeared, and I have several. They can be styled so many ways. And they’re perfect if you want to try a maxi, but are afraid to commit…they are like a maxi training skirt! This one is nice and light for summer, but I’ve gotta warn you…it’s pretty clingy, so if you don’t like your bum you might want to wear a slip under it.

Love these boots. So much in fact, I have them in three colors. I tend to do that…if I really love something I get it in a bunch of colors. Does that make me weird?  It’s okay if it does, because at least I’m weird with three cool pairs of ankle booties!  I decided to stick with black and gray (instead of blue denim) so that the booties took center stage.  The t-shirt is actually from the Men’s Department at JCP. I don’t discriminate…men’s, boy’s, girl’s…doesn’t matter to me. There are great things to be found in unusual places!

…and I say that only because white jeans scare me. I think they look super cute on everyone else, but I just don’t get how you wear them without every single thing you come in contact with getting all over them! Same goes for an ivory/white blazer. Love them. Even found one I really want, but still haven’t been brave enough to buy it. Why this irrational fear of dirt? Do I not have a washing machine, laundry soap, and stain remover? Of course I do, I’m just weird I guess…  On to today’s outfit. Skinny floral jeans, another soft floaty tank and wedge sandals. Yes, same tank as yesterday, different color! I also added a shot of the outfit styled with flats. A girl’s gotta have options, right?  Oh, and by the way, I’ve worn these jeans several times and not once have I gotten anything on them…

I picked up this camo maxi at Forever 21 a few years ago. Somehow it got lost in my closet and I just rediscovered it the other day. The light soft material makes it perfect for summer.  I paired it with a new tank top I just recently found. I actually picked this tank up in four different colors, for $8.98 a top you couldn’t go wrong. It’s soft and loose and lays just   right…not too clingy and not too huge. Today I’m linking up with Marion at http://www.marionberrystyle.blogspot.com/ for her Trend Of The Month Link-Up. Hop over and check out her blog. She has tons of great styling tips and she’s funny too!
