Nude Sandals & Black Button Down: Marmi Shoes Review

08.26.2015

Have you ever had a pair of butter soft leather shoes? Honestly, I can’t say that I ever have. Until now…

And these nude sandals are exactly that; butter soft. I hadn’t heard of Marmi Shoes until they approached me to do a collaboration with them. Initially I wanted to try a pair of kitten heel nude pumps, but alas, there were none left in my size. That may well have been a blessing in disguise because when these arrived and I touched them, I was in love. They are truly that soft. I have to be careful with heels because if they are too high or the heel is too narrow I typically can’t wear them for very long without foot pain. These have a nice solid mid-height block heel so they’re really comfortable. Although I can’t yet speak to whether or not I can wear them all day at work. I’ll get back to you on that next week… In the meantime, I can tell you if you’re on the market for a pair of quality leather shoes definitely take a look at Marmi Shoes.

I stole the black button down from my husbands closet since I wanted a slouchier fit. It was actually a little thicker than a traditional men’s dress shirt, so I might have to pick up another one that’s more lightweight to get that just right amount of slouch. I’ll be nice though and make sure it’s actually his size so that he can wear it too. I’m thoughtful like that; because you know, he really needs another black dress shirt. I added the gold belt to dress things up a bit; it’s obviously purely decorative, more like a necklace for your hips…a hiplace…not as great as “instasniper” and “kimodigan“, but it works.

Nice look, simple and balanced. Sandals are very nice, and the clutch gives strength to the outfit. Although, as always, your hair and your hairstyle are the best of the post.

They certainly do look buttery! Love the addition of the necklace as a belt. I love the words you come up with sometimes - they make me chuckle. If I tried to borrow one of my husband’s shirts you’d have to send in a search party I’d be hidden in them, they’re so big!

I love the ‘hiplace’. Its super cute and I love the slouchy look from the black shirt. Very nice of you to consider buying the shirt in hubby’s size. I love the shoes and can’t wait to hear just how comfy it was with extended wear. Fabulous look. Rock your day darling, :).
