I’ve missed you guys! You probably didn’t notice I was MIA, but I was. From sometime Wednesday morning until Saturday afternoon I was lost in some crazy semi-comatose delirium. That my friends is no exaggeration. I’m no stranger to sinus infections; I seem to get them a lot. But this one? Damn. I literally lost all of last week. I was in and out of wakefulness, my head was exploding with pain and my throat felt like someone scraped it with a well-sharpened machete. I honestly remember not much of anything except misery. Finally, my sweet (and very patient) husband hauled me off to urgent care where I was dosed up with super potent antibiotics and Mucinex. After a few days of medication I have finally rejoined the living.
This outfit obviously happened prior to the explosion in my head. How gorgeous is this kimono though? I found it at JCPenney a few months back and couldn’t wait to bust it out. This outfit is an example of how one item can make a huge difference. The graphic tee, jeans, pumps and necklace (another fab piece from Rocksbox) were fine on their own, but the kimono changed the entire game. It snazzed it up and made everything just a little more interesting, don’t you think?

The colors are what caught my eye…so vibrant.
That kimono is gorgeous. I need a couple of kimonos and some white pumps, too. Loving the Spring blues of this outfit, very much. =)
Happy Monday Debbie!
Oh Ada, you definitely need a few kimonos! I love them…they’re so crazy versatile.
I did notice, and I did miss you. Good to have you back. That sinus thingie sounds horrid but it also sounds like you made it your beeyotch and now you’re sassier than ever. Because only you can make white pumps look badass! ;p
Aww…thank you friend! xo I like to think I made it my beeyotch, but alas it’s still kinda kicking my ass. And yes, it’s takes a special kinda girl to make white pumps badass…lol!
I love this look!!! You look beautiful XO. Thank you for sharing with #linkupwithlisa

So sorry you were sick. I hope it’s over. BTW, I just put up the BEST post of my life on the blog. I know it’s annoying when people try to get you to visit their blogs so I’m only going to ask this once in my entire life. Please visit! I promise it will be worth your while.
It was totally worth the visit my friend…such beautiful shots! And stop it…you could never annoy me!
Aren’t sinus problems just the worst? Love the kimono, the colours look great with your hair colour!
Absolutely the worst, Lorna. I do like blues and aquas with my hair…thank you!
Girl your hair is on fire today! (Or whenever this was taken) :o) LOVE it!!! I’m also loving the photo where the breeze has caught your kimono…makes me want to throw one on right now and twirl around.

Yes JJ, sometimes mother nature is in a good mood and tosses you a breeze just when you need it…lol!
We really are sisters! I finally broke down and went to the Dr. today and now have a referral for a specialist for chronic sinusitis. I have been suffering something crazy lately. I can barely function. I have allergies normally but this has been coming on for months now just getting worse. Now it is actually causing a rash on my face. Seriously! I got some antibiotics today and some nose spray that will hopefully calm it down until I can see the specialist. I get these things far too often. So I feel your pain sister! So glad you are feeling better.
Love the tee.
bisous
Suzanne
I swear to God Suzanne, we were separated at birth. We absolutely have to get together this summer. Good luck with the specialist.

I feel like those school germs like to hit you one last time right when all your IEPs start to come due! I love those jeans and white heels on you!
Right?! Although just this year we switched our IEPs to the Fall instead of Spring so that’s one less thing to worry about…until October.
Debbie I love every single element of this look, it is so stylish and trendy without being too much so. you look fab and I love how the colors in the kimono work so well with the other elements of the look.
