Today is one of those days that I’m just not feeling a story…
THE STORY (OR LACK THEREOF)
…You know those days where you’re just feeling kind of, I don’t know, blah? I always try to stay pretty positive about life in general, but sometimes a little bit of this and a little bit of that just piles up to become a whole lot of BS. So I think for today I’ll just focus on the outfit. And maybe wax poetic about the best shoes ever…
THE OUTFIT
Yes, I have determined that my Adidas Superstars are quite literally, the best shoes ever. Seriously, what’s not to love? They absolutely ooze a cool girl vibe. I actually feel exponentially cooler when I’m wearing them. And the best part? It’s like walking around with little clouds on my feet. Clouds that are stuffed with puppy fur and cotton candy. There may or may not be some truth to the rumor that I’ve also ordered a pair with gold stripes…
I do love my Converse, but they aren’t always the most comfortable for all day wear. And while they do look pretty fab with a skirt or dress, I like the look of the Adidas even better. So you’ll forgive me if they become frequent flyers here on the blog.
Something about the simplicity of this look really got me. Sometimes less really is more. No layers, no print mix just the easiness of black, white and denim. Easy to put together, easy to wear. And it don’t get better than that my friends.
THE TIP
There’s nothing wrong with going back to the basics once in awhile. Even a simple outfit turns into something special when you feel spectacular wearing it.

I will take the time to disagree Debbie!! Only because I’m a sucker for a good debate…ha ha and you need some cheering up!!
This outfit is not basic in my opinion!
First off you’re wearing a skirt with your fun graphic tee (which is “fabulous” by the way)! That in itself takes it up a notch.
And then adding that sparkly necklace is another notch up! Along with sparkly bracelet—and you’re a fashionista!!

Another great outfit! While basics, your combination is fresh and fun! I love dressing down pencil skirts with tees or tanks and casual sneakers. I’ve been wearing SeaVees lately, but I may try out these Adidas after reading about how comfortable they are.

Sometimes less is indeed more. This is a great look for you, probably because it’s a bit of a change Debbi. The mix of sexy skirt, casual tee shirt and jacket all finished with these cool shoes is a wining combination. Oh, and let’s not forget that cheeky little bit of sparkle around your neck. No-one else would put all of this together and carry it off like you. And hey, sometimes that less is more can mean not telling a tale either. Have a great weekend x
