Since I’ve been gettin’ my boho chic on recently, Ada from Elegance & Mommyhood and I decided to bring you Boho Week…
THE STORY
…That’s right, my friends. All boho inspired looks; all week long. I know, not really a stretch for me, since I’ve definitely been going through a boho phase the last few months. That’s apparently how I roll…I decide I love something (often something I previously despised, Bearpaw boots anyone?) and then I become fixated ,obsessed, um, how about determined to collect lots of whatever it is. Let’s see, there’s been a lace phase, kimonos, camouflage, clutch handbags, and most recently long shirts/dusters and boho inspired things. I think I maybe have the fashion version of OCD. Let’s call it FOCD. Am I the only one? Do any of you have a touch of FOCD?
THE OUTFIT(S)
How cute is Ada’s look? The booties, the lace/pattern on the skirt…loving it all. For the details on her look, stop by Elegance & Mommyhood and have a read.
I picked up this lace tunic last winter. Thanks to my trusty lace skirt extender, I made it into a dress. I cannot extol enough, the virtues of skirt extenders. An actual slip/extender is an option (here, here, here) or you can also layer over a lace trimmed dress (here, here, here). Having that little bit of pretty extra length just opens up so many more styling options for your longer shirts and tunics as well as for dresses and skirts that might be a hair shorter than what you’re comfortable with. The otk boots add not only a little edge, but a little warmth for chilly days.
THE TIP
For an almost endless variety of styling options, pick yourself up a skirt extender or three. Do it. Now. That’s all I have to say…

Thank you so much Rachel! Have a great weekend! 🙂
I love that blush tunic dress with the slip extender. I need one of those, badly. And hey I also have FOCD. I get ‘determined’ (I like your word better) about something and make sure to fill my closet with it. Lately it is booties, anything suede, anything plaid and boho 70s’ inspired things. After looking at our photos side by side, your outfit is definitely more Bohemian. Mine is kind of Bohemian, kind of Spanish. I am glad we did this though. We each have our own take on the boho look.
Happy Monday my friend!

I cant stop laughing at FOCD. If it helps, know that I am the same way. I’d buy the same item in different colors. Loving your boho look so much and I must get a lace extender asap. Happy rest of the week Debbie.
